YouDebate

This is a debating competition that involves our sister schools and this year it was hosted by Sirius College, Eastmeadows Campus. This year two teams from the Meadow Fair Campus were involved in the YouDebate competition debating and deliberating over various issues. The year nine team consisted of Musa Cheema, Elias Tokhi and Saifullah Zaydan Hilmi. The year 10 team consisted of Taha Turemis, Hamzah Ahmad, Abdulrahman Allaham as well as Hady Chor who entered the solo public speaking component of this debate.

The boys were up against some tough competition from the rival sister schools. They were involved in heated yet fun debates and they conveyed themselves with confidence and integrity.

Overall, the boys all performed exceptionally well despite some hiccups on the day. The best part of the competition, apart from the debates, was seeing the boys form friendships with students from other schools.

I would like to congratulate our boys on their involvement in the competition and all the very best in the future.
